Pre programmed and autonomous is not the same thing. And Noone in the military wants fully autonomous weapons because of risks of being hacked or mistakes. Etc

Bertolt Brecht wrote "Kriegsfibel" - translated: "War Primer"; It’s a book made from WWII-era press photos (from newspapers and magazines), each paired with short poems (epigrams). It’s a strong anti-war book. He tries to teach critical thinking and viewing things as what they are, instead of seem -propaganda. The photo will try to tell you one thing, but the text shifts your interpretation and your brain has to resolve the tension. Its got dozens of photos.
So the text here is a translation of several of these epigrams. Because Brecht’s writing is quite condensed and sharp, so different translations can feel quite different in tone and wording, even if they carry the same core meaning.
Looking at the book, you can gloss over the images and epigrams in seconds, but also sit with them for minutes in thought. Its quite interesting that way.
He also went on Joe Rogan’s podcast or whatever it’s called. Whether for good or ill I’ll never know but that decision alone tainted Jesse for me personally.
He wasn't mourning Kirk's death. He was speaking out against ANY violence, and those that celebrated it.

Doesn't strike me, given his overall political leanings in his songs that it's anything other than him maturing between the two events, but *shrug* who knows.
I don't have the energy today to do any concentrated digging into interviews and such, see what shifted.
Can you share? I follow him on socials and haven’t seen that. Jesse has always been for free speech and anti violence so I don’t see him advocating for Charlie’s murder.
