I just wanna have a quick outlet because I've never experienced anything like this.
I was out with my friends celebrating my birthday. Pub was really crowded so me and my group of friends was seated at the same table as another group of people. Things went on fine, I small talked to some of the girls from the other group but spent the majority of the night on the dance floor.
Towards the end of the night I came back to our table to have a break and finish my wine and one of the girls from the other group just started acting really aggressive and hostile towards me. I asked her what was up, I was just really chocked by her behavior, and calmy asked if she was trying to pick a fight with me. She then completely flew of the handle and started screaming at me, called me a whore and started raising her fist against me.
None of her friends did anything, they just sat there and watched and I eventually ran out of the pub before her literally attacking me physically, crying because I felt so humiliated and completely taken by surprise by the way she was acting.
I still have no idea what was going on and i really wish I would have told the bouncers because her behavior was out of control. Left a bad taste in my mouth, and it's such a shame because that was my favorite place in town.

Thats basically all bars in my part of the US. Maybe big clubs in Portland or Seattle have roaming bouncers but thats not normal here

Where I live in the US almost all bouncers are outside or at best at the door. Rare is a place that just has inside bouncers
