I prefer this version

In other parts of the world, they are still paying $7-8/gallon. Oil companies are making huge profits from them and we are still getting screwed.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now do the price for mid-grade

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Laughing in European, a gallon costs over $9

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That sticker looks like a photoshop, the perspective is wrong.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because it is

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn. Gas is almost $5 a gallon here.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

TBF, I filled up the tank of my truck for $1.99 today. That's over 18 gallons of gas.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Granted there was a ton of fuel cents off per gallon due to buying gift cards at HyVee.

Cries in European.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, the prices are high here compared to US, but at least they are ~30% down vs. the recent highs.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every president around the world does this when getting closer to voting they bring gas prices down. So they can win your vote.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The president has control of gas prices

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Here comes the Fox News story about how lower gas prices are bad and it’s all Biden’s fault.

2 years ago | Likes 146 Dislikes 1

Try living in an oil producing area... you are constantly fighting yourself. "Oh good, prices are down... shit, that's not good" You save at the pump, then next week layoffs make the news.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Really hurting the mom and pop gas stations."

2 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Heh, there's a mom & pop gas station near here that is pretty popular. Might be because they sell 104 octane.

"Millennials are to blame for oil industries not having better record profits" -Huffpost

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This isn't a joke. Trump once demanded the Russians and Saudis cutting oil production because prices were so low from the pandemic American oil companies were losing money (costs more for employees here).

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lipow said. “And one has to wonder what Trump promised in order to cut production. What’s the trade?”

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They already beat you to it

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They have done that before, with Obama.

They lurve it. BUT they are totally all straight

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s stupid either way. Presidents have no power over gas prices. Literally the ONLY time I’ve ever stood up for Trump (I even hate typing that) is when people were blaming him for high gas prices. I thought it important to stay honest and remind people that it’s several other factors that determine prices.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Yeah but he did threaten to tax known price gouges a bunch. Sent a letter out to middle dealers and refineries and the prices started to come down.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ehhh, almost right Biden released a bunch of gas to the market from the reserves to drive prices down by increasing supply. GQP flipped out but I guess they've never heard about selling high and buying low.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

£7 per UK gallon here in London England. What's that in US dollars?

Is this like ... real? Not some AI faking her voice? I know she is dumb but this is a whole new level of stupid.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every time I hear her speak I think a HOA somewhere is missing its president.

Managed a member discount around a month back where an error in entering the discount got me gas for $1.94/gal. Something I didn't even manage back when I was driving to High School (because gas was past $2/gal regularly by then)

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s ~$1.70 in Tennessee

Drove through Nebraska about a week ago and Sam’s Club was 2.11, Chicago Costco yesterday was 2.70

3.40 here, taxes amount to roughly .60. That's 2.80. So, no.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

At the pump price is about $2.99 for 87 octane here in SE Michigan. $3.59 for the higher octane my bike needs.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's up around $4.29 here near Seattle, WA

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

In Finland, but that's per liter

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We saw $1.79 in northern CO. We took pictures. I don't know if i've ever seen it under $2 in my lifetime.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’s like $4.99 in Guam you lucky bastards

2 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Houston it's at around 2.45

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Makes sense down around the oil refineries.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I live 50 miles from the refineries in Houston (aka, the North side of Houston vs the South side) and gas is $0.15 - $0.30 cheaper by my house ($2.149 no discounts) than it is outside the gates of the refineries. It's idiotic.

True as a general rule, rather than a direct correlation on a linear scale.

The legendary stations on that corner are not indicative of the entire town, though

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

The stations at I-25 & 119?

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I haven't seen a price that low in decades

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Where are you from? 1999?

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'd lose my shit if I saw that.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm tired of that price war at I-25/119. I just want to be able to go through that exit to go home without lines of people wanting to save a few cents on gas.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Feel that is so many ways. The Murphy just east like 2 blocks is usually about the same price and you throw a discount on its the same with no lines.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think the lowest I’ve seen lately is 2.39 at the conoco at 119 and Pratt pkwy

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That corner at i-25 is the best. We stop there all the time to take advantage of the gas war.

CA - 5.58

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Paid 3.50 in California from a 7-11 in the central valley.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Had a conservative billboard in our town complaining about how CA has a $1.20 tax on each gallon. Backfired when people started wondering why our gas was $3.00 more than the next state over. Still won't say what that extra $1.80 a gallon cost is due to, but we all know what it is.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I felt that

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is that California or Canada?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cali

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably canada as that's closer to what we would pay for a gallon.
