As someone who recently went through a similar natural disaster OMFG!! What the fuck!!! That is so much worse. I havent seen too much in the news about this although i know it happened. The strength to keep going after something like this is immeasurable and the bravery of rescue workers is unparalleled.
#8 is awesome. At first i thought it was a mural of a Miro that i had never seen. Turns out it is a map with stylized landmarks in madrid by Justi Barboza titled "Ronda".
Whats fucked up tho, im pretty sure i designed that carnival tent when i was in college. I see it everywhere now.
#22 that crow has helped millions of people. I've never seen a credit for it.
#60 is maybe shitty photography but the print is pretty creative.

My garden is lots of native things ive transplanted but also veggies and dahlias and what not. The grass is all wild at this point. I use a weed whacker to knock it down more level once it seeds. Keep the trumpet at bay. After a few years of just letting it go and having it seed itself its so easily manageable and thick and lush. Even better i dont need pesticide in the garden. There is equilibrium. usually dont whack the weeds till a few weeks after last frost and almost all june for fireflies

Eh. Eugenics vs selective breeding. I may wish to have a child with my beautiful and intelligent partner. We selected based on our brains and hearts and looks. That child would grow up well taken care of and educated. Our families are both highly educated. I could only imagine if my ex and i had a child. She was insane and uneducated. Prone to binge drinking and anti intellectualism. Anti vax even after half her family died in a covid spike.
The whole set up is pretty sweet. MCM with a touch of what i call funky farmhouse. That bathroom is lit.

The wealthy have spent decades buying politicians, defunding education, buying media outlets, inventing celebrities, and brainwashing vulnerable communities to vote in their gerrymandered districts.
