While I agree, the government has not demonstrated that it appropriately uses the death penalty.

This video doesn’t demonstrate that the individuals aren’t on their own individual fastest route - surface streets are slow too.

Higher mean, higher variance. Climate change isn’t complicated if you’re trying to understand. But they’re not.
There’s talk of including dc lines along highways now too
You measure cost effectiveness by looking at the ratio of $ spent vs mwh produced. You won’t get a higher ratio than giant wind turbines
Turbine costs the same as a few thousand of these minis, but produces much more energy
Also in the industry- definitely agree. Wind is not modular - you get huge economies of scale when you build larger turbines. One 100m...

technology is much more expensive than existing wind and solar technology. But hopefully with R&D itll come down and the potential is huge
Expensive, but in large part because we don’t do it at scale yet - it’d come down if we added MWs of capacity. Problem is the whole /1
Not just solar - geothermal too!
Unfortunately it’s limited by geography and its size. doesn’t make sense without a bunch of utilities with joint ownership, which is hard
It’s now a pumped storage facility - pumping water to the reservoir when energy is cheap and running it through the turbine when it’s not
