This idiot (Johnson) definitely does not speak for the us

I always keep my pants fully loaded, belt, wallet, small shopping bag, knife, keys etc change every 3 days to an identical pair of shorts/pants, possibly a different color. Bedtime shorts are morning workout shorts, get 2 days of use, makes life easy

I really wish that was the widely accepted term in the us because a rocket sammie just sounds so much better

Yeah, she was not a nice person

I hate going to the office because I have to pretend work for half the day, usually done by noon so I either take off early or just watch YouTube. I don’t have any direct boss on site so it’s all just for show anyways, at home I can do weekend chores on a Wednesday so I can actually enjoy days off

My current role 10 years ago was shirt and tie, they’d have contests to win a jeans day on fridays, still with shirt and tie. Went pretty much full wfh during rona so it’s usually pajamas till noon then whatever I feel like wearing to go to the store after that

I can’t tell if that’s from shameless or the bear but either way you are correct

What’s the song?

English muffin, little bit of gochujang or horseradish, arugula, dill havarti arugula and some mortadella or Capicola is my go to sandwich. Simple but just a flavor bomb

1 day ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love the crunch but arugula is my go to, have it 3 meals a day

99% sure my mothers last words were “fuck your feelings, I got mine” as she died alone with crippling debt and a $500 a month trump contribution because he would save her. Fuck the lot of em

Chili cheese dogs are imo are wholly separate category, but if I had to choose id pick any Chicago dog or the aforementioned bbq dog over any chili cheese dog, and to be more granular and chain based Buona over Portillo’s on the dog but I personally like cozy corner which is hyper local to me in that category

Right in the heart of touristville, not really my area of expertise for local food, but if you can find a Portillo’s you can get all the greatest hits. If you get the chance next time for just a great restaurant go to girl and the goat, get the pig face, it’s incredible

This is like the trans athletes of pizza arguments, most people just accept it or embrace it but a very vocal minority try to gaslight us into believing it’s wrong

Deep dish and Chicago dogs are pretty closely tied to the Chicago area, don’t find them often outside of it. Italian beef is most definitely an item you’d be hard pressed to find outside Chicago. Tavern cut (little squares) thin crust pizza is not Chicago specific but probably the second most famous pizza in the land. Rib tips on the south side are great. Specific recommendations are tough unless you specify a neighborhood

Been in Chicago for 15 years, most people “from” here don’t get it very often, tavern cut thin crust is the way to go. I love JS but he can fuck right off about the Chicago dog, it’s pretty much perfect, only thing to top it is a bbq dog from hot dog Annie’s in Leicester MA, I’ve said my piece, downvote if you wish

I love how this is the natural reply to that gif, it feels wrong to see one without the other now

It’s horrifying because it’s true

My interior is very simple on my 14 year old subie, but at least it does t have any touch screens, I can make any change I need to just by reaching for a knob or button. I’ll keep that old girl going as long as parts are available. And since people wreck wrxs daily there is a huge used market out there

Yep, like I said plenty of professions that I didn’t name, but I buy produce, I can fill a truck of potatoes in my sleep and one beer has zero effect on me

Atheist here with a minor in theology/world religions. Grew up catholic, wife was raised Buddhist, have taught our kids about religion, basically what it is and how there are so many of them. If that was taught in school id be fine with it, but most people want indoctrination not knowledge

You’re totally right, I never watched it nor did my kids but I knew I had heard it somewhere
