I don’t have the tism, but I also believe this about discussing things with people. But when a discussion doesn’t seem to be productive, I also remind myself that you can’t reason someone out of something they didn’t reason themselves into, and I stop. Maybe that’s where the distinction lies.

I can’t tell if they are missing or bent. If you have a steady hand and eagle eyes you could probably bend the pins back. Some pins may not be needed, so I’d fix as many as possible, make sure none are shorted to each other, and try it. There’s some extra ground pins and such, maybe you’ll get lucky. Once you hit your 30’s, no one cares, just go to fuckin work. People will start celebrating your birthday again when you hit an age that surprises people you are still alive. Meanwhile, treat yourself!!

I googled it and it seems the rate in Canada is 0.4 and the USA is around 0.55, so the average of the two is pretty close to the EU rate; at least not wildly out of line. There were no figures for infants that died in gang related violence or pre-pre-school shootings, if that’s what you were trying to imply.
