The trick is to never tell someone he/she is wrong. Instead, ask questions and then let them reform their opinions themselves.

I'm not saying you're bad people. I'm saying there are alternatives to nuclear power that, properly developed, is much better.
So, toxic panels... what about the uranium mines and the manufacture of the fission plants? aren't they even more toxic?

I'm well aware that hydro power is not very environmentally friendly. Which is why I didn't include it.
What about solar, wind and wave?
Also I know enough about statistics to know that as long as the chance of disaster >0, given enough time there WILL inevitably be a disaster
The problem is that it's irrelevant that 99 plants are working fine if the environmental disaster of the 100:th plant is so severe.
What about fukushima?
