I hate to be that guy, but not an ounce of technology is going to advance a society whose leaders completely refuse progress. It's going to be used to extract money and resources from poor people, just like television and radio. They were invented, and folks immediately plugged them into the gift machine, ahem, The Market, and now we have to pay to avoid ads. How soon before we're going to pay an AI to give us an experience free of AI?
