They thought it was socially cool and they were the cool group who wanted to show everyone how cool they were, and that everyone else were dorks. They jump on trends not because of their cultural value but because theyre insecure in their own self-worth and attach it to popular culture to make sure theyre not on the outside as a pop culture minority. Because we all know how they treat ethnic minorities, and they conflate the two.

I still love it. I just watched the most recent episodes, and they were great. So far, it’s being wrapped up nicely, albeit a bit quickly. I kind of wanted it to marinate a bit since it’s the last season (a bit bittersweet for me since i’m a fan), but it’s one of the better final seasons i’ve seen.
