I've seen a few shops in my day

The Imperium is literally too fascist to be sexist. EVERYONE goes into the meat grinder, no exceptions.

Up until the cutout of what I assume was the word "dick", that call was indeed FCC compliant.

I was told I was imagining things when I told people google had been on a SHARP decline since ~2015. It used to be ELITE at knowing what you were asking it, to the point you could specify date ranges a la "Which country imported the 3rd most coffee per capita between 1974 and 1983?" and it'd just casually spit out "France" with a fully cited economic study wherein France actually waffled between 2nd and 5th during that time frame, but it indeed levels out to 3rd when you do the math yourself.

Well color me jealous. Cheapest thing I can find even remotely near me that aren't literally condemned houses or empty lots are tiny 2br1ba 240k condos with $800/mo condo fees that still only cover water (no electric or heat), snow removal, groundskeeping, and external repairs...oh and no washer/dryer hookups because fuck you, use a laundromat.

You have a house with a yard that's worth less than 130k??? Do you live on the moon?

I've been out of the game for a while, but here's my sense of why it's just barely worth more than bulk: modern print run, only really useful in EDH, and most of the decks I know of that would want the copy effect don't really care about the anthem, even the decks that use thopters (1000 1/1s kill the table just as dead as 1000 3/3s). It'll definitely do things, and there's probably a fun commander shell to build around it, but there is a LOT of competition for card slots in artifact decks.

My old high school football coach told me to eat it. Two of his former mascots did that and it was the perfect crime (one of them later became his husband, it was really sweet)

#12 Ya no shit, that's why we HAVE scientific ethics. If being unethical didn't advance science faster, we wouldn't have needed come up with all the ethics rules to keep scientists from going overboard. Would kidnapping a few hundred thousand infants to better control their environment for study advance psychological and sociological research by like a thousand years? Absofuckinglutely it would, but we don't do that because holy fucking shit should you not fucking do that.

Ya, ladies, y'all can talk like this about gender roles when you start insisting on paying your half of checks again or mount your own TV stands (seriously, some of y'all pretend to turn into freaking toddlers the second a screwdriver enters the equation). Gender roles are fucking stupid, but you are insanely blind if you think it's almost exclusively men who are maintaining this system.

Never seems to be the right time, huh? Funny how that always works out. The best time for one was 74, but the civil rights act was new, so we let shit slide. The 2nd best time was 08, but we all got ascared that the economy might somehow get even worse, so we let the government gift the assholes who robbed us with bonuses. The 3rd best time is now. Revolution becomes more and more difficult with each passing day as the police state develops better and better tools to crack down on the populace.

I'll believe it when I see some actual willingness to act. All I'm seeing from people is a lot of talk about how unhappy they are. I've tried organizing people into (non-violent/legal) action, and I can't even get people to contribute to, let alone follow, a boycott list ffs. Like, sure, we can get people to stand outside state houses with signs for a few hours, but get them to take actual action against the powers that be? I'll believe that's coming when I see it happen (hope I'm wrong though).

We're not getting one. Trump's dictatorship might be imploding, but the oligarchy it was built to set up is still strong. The more toothless Trump and the state become, the more powerful the corporate ownership class gets. Plus, with Trump's failure to centralize all the power for himself, they get a new propaganda tool to kneecap the left in saying "SEE, you overreacted!" all the while they continue their slow, gradual strangulation of the working class.

No shame from me whatsoever. She wants to have her cleavage out for whatever reason, go to town, sister! Whether that's because she just wants some air flow there or because she specifically wants people to see the top of her boobs, that was her informed decision to look like that when she picked that top.

Telling you you don't have a right to be angry with me because I don't believe in the same mythology as you (with literal zero evidence for its veracity) is not the same thing as dictating your emotional response. It's calling out that emotional response as baseless. Not every emotion is valid. Some emotions are really fucking petty and stupid and deserve to be called out as such.

Or, like: a t-shirt, a basic button up blouse, anything with a collar that closes above the clavicle, really. I wouldn't say we definitely know she's specifically trying to get people to look at her cleavage, or that men aren't gonna stare anyway, but to say she isn't wearing a low-cut top here and to act like the only way she could possibly prevent her cleavage being out is with a heavy sweater is disingenuous.

The other depressing thing about a situation like the one you're describing is that they probably don't even think that deeply into the question and just kind of said it to say something. Just spewing derision and dismissal for no greater reason than to hear themselves talk.

I didn't realize she was only NINE WEEKS PREGNANT. I assumed she was at least into the third trimester or something, (still wouldn't be ok) but jesus, a fetus spending close to 80% of the pregnancy developing in the womb of a braindead mother can't possibly have likely good health outcomes.
