I disagree, there’s something in this image that screams violence and extremism. They have riot shields and gas masks on.
You know people are starving in Gaza, the forces of fascism are taking over Washington DC and turning it into a militarized zone, and LatinX people are being disappeared to foreign and domestic prison camps but yeah this seems like the protest we need to be doing right now.
Oh I envy you seeing the Wire for the first time. I rewatch the series every four years or so. So good.

My question is, if all the soldiers to object to this deployment are allowed to leave, that means just the soldiers who agree with this deployment are all that’s left, and if that’s the case, doesn’t it become more dangerous for the people?

Well there was a genocide of the Native Americans. The Vikings didn’t commit genocide.
You mean after the mass genocide, committed by the white minority in order so that they can become the white majority, of the native peoples of a land the white minority was trying to steal?
Its called colonization and maybe the problem was that even though white people were in the minority they still enacted a system of apartheid with laws that curtailed the rights of the majority of people who lived there.

I’m 52. 52 is definitely old, and that’s okay. I’ve earned every one of those 52 years. I’m proud of the wisdom I have acquired. The problem is people thinking that being old is bad. Aging ain’t for the meek, remember that when you talk to older people. Old people strong as fuck.
