I’m 52. 52 is definitely old, and that’s okay. I’ve earned every one of those 52 years. I’m proud of the wisdom I have acquired. The problem is people thinking that being old is bad. Aging ain’t for the meek, remember that when you talk to older people. Old people strong as fuck.

A 48 year old here, some advice.....bring some earplugs. I know, I know but trust me by the end of the night they might be handy.

Squishy ear buds are great and aspirin, Tylenol, or Advil. Took my daughter to her first concert to see Disturbed in Nashville earlier this year. Needed something for my bones afterword's. and it helps with a headache.

everyone of all ages should be wearing ear protection at most concerts. they have ones specifically designed for it, they don't lessen the quality of the event

If I ever knew Tinnitus was a possibility, I would have used hearing protection more often. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

52 is young... but when it's 10:00 and you are very subtly thinking "When are they going to play my song so I can beat the rush out of the stadium..." that might be the age thing poking at you.

I did that my last Metallica consert, but I was pregnant, not old. ( or both...)

Screw that, get caught in the traffic and play music loudly through the car speakers

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I've done this from my 30's

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not even in my 30s and doing this

Real talk, I liked their later albums and always appreciate bands that try new shit even if it doesn’t work

52 ain’t young.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It is when you are way over 52.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Even then. It just means there are older people. But 52 ain’t young, and that’s okay.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was a joke... theres a saying older people will say when they find out you are younger than them... like if you are thirty and they are fifty, they'll say "oh, that's young... I remember when I was 30..." I thought people would get the reference, but this is the internet so... yeah, anyway it isn't young because I'm 59 and don't feel young at all. I feel even older too now, so thanks.
