You can do both. Support progressives in primaries, help progressives take the spot, but then when it comes to the national election, I will vote for the milquetoast neolib over the fascist every day, if the progressives didn't make the ballot.
Interesting variation on the trolley problem
Do you understand how insane it is to say someone saved for 10 years for ONE trip and then dismiss the idea that there is in fact a quantitative difference between the lifestyles of different levels of wealth. Cheap and rich are not subjective, they are definitively objective.
Which implies what, that you believe Biden caused COVID? Or is your cognitive dissonance so strong that you expected zero lasting impacts from the Trump policies combined with a literal global plague?
But you do realize right, that when you *choose* to publicly make a comment, you also invite people to publicly respond to it? Did you think you would just make your comment and the rest of the world would be like "ah, la, well I guess we should just read his drivel and keep our mouths shut." And when you have 0 people saying "yeah I agree" and 100% of people saying "no you're wrong," do you ever.. self reflect?
Minecraft logic.
I wonder if people like you look at their ratio and wonder, "am I the asshole?"
I think the goals is more 'traveling with your life partner and existing in a trusting relationship that allows you to relax in each others arms' more than the 'drawing' tbh.
This is actually a really good way to put my problems with one of the relationships I had earlier in my life. She was never rude, never cheated, never really did anything wrong, never even dismissive really, just didn't seem to *care* about anything I did. None of the good, bad, hopes, fears, accomplishments. I felt like I was just a bystander, and was never really able to articulate well why I couldn't continue seeing her.
Sometimes it just takes the right teacher. I remember I could never get into guitar because I couldn't figure out how to listen for notes and tune it, always needed help, felt like I couldn't even do basics, why try? Eventually talked to a guitar bro randomly and he was like "ok just don't tune it then, who cares? It still plays." And that was what ended up getting me learning, learned tuning way later. Have been thinking about getting "it still plays" as a tattoo or something at some point.
Sorry, I guess he should have stated "that is normal in the developed world." In the United States, obviously there is a different, more dystopian solution.
I don't know exactly, I assume this is some kind of competition. My comment was more about the level of parental control in India, but parents are usually not literally at a testing center, also it wouldn't be outdoors, this looks like some form of math competition. But India does not allow calculators for most operations until 10th grade, so these kinds of mnemonic motions are not uncommon for younger students doing math.
And they did great, didn't see any fights, injuries, they found all the places in the town people could stuff cars, i'm sure it stressed everyone out but it went great.
Yeah was in Newport VT and they got like 10x more people than expected cause Burlington had some clouds in the forecast, had like 5 porta-potties for thousands of people. Huge credit to them though, they closed school and had a few highschool kids as volunteer 'event' staff for what they expected was like, the town and a few visitors parking in school lots. They estimated 20,000 people came by car to Newport.
12 hours on 91 south, definitely still worth it though, never expected to see something like that with my own two eyes, and also helped me keep my promise to myself to not fall too deeply into a routine, seek out experiences, etc.
Yeah I did the opposite, waited at the park a few hours, figured I was letting the traffic "clear up" and left when the park and town looked pretty clear. Put myself dead in the middle of EVERYONE ELSE from every other state, spent 12 hours on 91 South.
Actually I think that's Wyoming, but in my defense, I don't care.
Colorado has perfect eyes.

Comments like this are why it is so difficult to criticize Israel without being labeled anti-semetic.
And Forbes, and the Economist, and CNN, and Business Insider, and NBC, and the random Edge newsfeeds, etc.
"Parents standing around" is basically how you do everything in India.
The show literally ended.

God I hope this is satire.

At least in my corner of the US, we are starting to see some cracks. I was looking for places to rent last year, some of the places I looked at in 2022 are now emailing me in 2024 with the same rate plus first month free.
Note your ratio. Learn from it. Don't fall for propaganda. You don't need fake organizations to get mad at. You can get mad at the real government.
