It's fucking wild how in order to buy a product, you need to know whole corporate family trees, the owners of the companies, their policies to avoid slave labor, where they source raw materials, farming practices, how they treat their employees, diversity hiring practices, whether they have religious exemptions for their employees' healthcare plans, repairability, how they source their energy, and so on forever.I shouldn't need to do a graduate thesis for buying hand soap.
Sure. In the most clinical, literal sense you cannot prove a negative. But life would be pretty exhausting if you had to couch every single statement in that level of pedantry. A healthy model of belief allocates credence to things based on the probability of truth, which changes based on evidence. That doesn't mean that you need to pretend things could be real when they are nonsense. There are very few definitions of "God" that even pass the test of logical consistency.
If you're in the US, you're literally living through a Christian Nationalist fascist takeover of the government. I think it is fairly reasonable that folks might have gripes about religion.

The purpose of a system is what it does. It's not a failure of the system if it is a consistently reproduced result that has no serious effort to change it.
On an individual level it's not much in percentages. But how much actual money is that transferring from people's retirement savings to Elon Musk? All because him and his cronies in the US Government and financial institutions decided they could bend or break the rules.
I at least partly agree that there were theoretical balances to power in the American system of government. Any system that hinders power is going to require vigilance. But we need a society-wide reckoning with the idea that people have power because they deserve it, or that people wielding power over others is a natural and right thing. The ability to control others should always be given only under strict provisions, defined timeframes, and strict oversight.

When they describe those opposing power, they'll use active voice and the labels of the oppressors.
