That was my first thought, too!

Alternate title, "gym smart v country smart".

Did anyone else see "Cougar Skates" written on everything and think she was going to be older? No? Just me?

Have you seen the movie?
(Spoiler warning for a famous move from 50 years ago, I guess?)

Rocky loses the big fight at the end of the movie.

I assure you, it is quite hinged.

Husbands with SECRET Grindr accounts. If a dem/lib/left/prog woman's partner has an account, that shit's been agreed upon. They're prolly scanning dudes together and she's saying shit like, "Oh, that one's cute! He's definitely your type!"

#17 That's because everyone knows better than to get Nebraskans wet or to feed them after midnight. There were two whole movies about this!

Nah, you're okay to use all three! Each of those terms conveys a subtly different aspect of the evil. It's like "cruel and unusual" or "reckless endangerment" or "callous disregard". Sometimes it takes more words really cover everything.

Thanks!

100% agree! PMJ and Pomplamoose doing covers of Black artists is the worst. Literal cringe inducing.

#23 What song is the one with the gunny monkey?

100% agree! My kid's school uses three different software packages, none of which communicate with each other properly. Each has its own interface and its quirks, of course.

I've worked in several fields that depend heavily on commercial software, including doing IT support for some of that software. Compared to what other industries use, the educational software is crap! I suspect one of the reasons is there's just not as much money to be made selling software and support to public schools.

Yes, obviously all of that happens, but the rate is often far lower with a force that has been trained not to do those things. You're right that I'm "telling on myself"—I served in the US Army Reserve and my state's National Guard, and I have personally refused illegal orders and received support from my comrades in arms and chain of command.

ICE is intentionally being built differently than the military, not that the current administration isn't messing up on that front, too.

To say that to a person who suffers from depression is to say they're unworthy of ever being in a relationship.

That's true, but to the people running the show, that lack of training isn't a bug—it's a feature. A well-trained force wouldn't do most of what ICE does. Their commanders would refuse to give illegal orders. Their soldiers wouldn't use widespread abuse. In short, they wouldn't be the gestapo that the current regime wants them to be.

Skirts with functional pockets? That's unisexy!

The only thing you have to apologize for is making me laugh so loud that I may have woken up my neighbors. 11 out of 10.

I learned a long time ago that I should not accept invitations to TV or movie "watch parties" because there's no party. I don't understand why people who plan to sit in silence staring at a screen want other people to sit in the same room at watch the screen in silence, too.

Oh, that's good! I'm gonna use that! Thank you!

I don't think that "they're making it everyone else's problem" means that men complain more. I think it refers to bad behavior towards women, shootings, and other behaviors commonly associated with "lonely men now days".

I won't say the movie is bad, but the book is SO MUCH BETTER! <3

If I could only upvote one book, it would be this! Not only is it a great book, it also makes great book club discussions because it's challenging in the best way.

#16 No! This is wrong! McDonald's stopped using beef fat in their fryers in 1990, and it's never been the same since then. 80's fries were bitchin!

I remember hiding a D&D book inside a folder during study hall in the 80s. I'm so glad we traded the Satanic Panic for Critical Role.

I'd like better tools for referring to and finding individual images in a post when using a desktop browser. I can't understand the comment about #37 without a lot of scrolling and counting.
