FWIW that happens when animals are REMOVED from the Endangered Species list. It usually means they've recovered enough to no longer require federal protection. Bald Eagles got removed in 2007.

Very few kitchen / dining room tables have no had a drink spilled on them. I love the table, but I'd be in constant fear of a spill getting into the workings below.

Although the *reason* they need it the most is because they keep electing people that are keeping them in that bad situation. There's an argument to be made that if you keep "enabling" the problem, they'll never stop doing it to themselves. AID for the symptoms is okay as long as least some of your effort goes into fixing the systemic problem / cause.

I don't understand why you even NEED to be a "legal US citizen" to vote. Politicians act on behalf of the people LIVING in their district, or for the president, living anywhere in the USA. The entire point of voting is for the "constituents" (people the official acts on behalf of) to be chosen BY those same people. The laws they pass and the decisions they make don't just affect the people that can "prove" they're eligible to vote, they affect everyone.
