Freedom of speech is for all kinds of speech, not just the kind you agree with. Doesn't matter how you feel about it. Maybe the UK's idea of "free speech" is bullshit and filled with a bunch of caveats and exceptions, but in America, it's pretty straightforward. You are allowed to say what you think, provided you are not inciting a riot or calling others to commit acts of violence. No matter how detestable. You may be judged by your peers for your words, but not jailed for them.
A suit of power armor, 100%. You'd be near invulnerable, and you get to feel/look like Iron Man.
