The character Wolf from the TV show “Future Man” on Hulu. This show was produced by Seth Rogan and is loosely based on the book “Enders Game” where a kid who is great at a video game is chosen to save the world using his skills from that game. In the series, Wolf starts out as a very one-dimensional NPC sidekick character who is only focused on killing, but over the episodes develops a deep multi faceted personality as he falls in love with a computer, becomes a master chef, leads a post-apocalyptic tribe through his mastery of bike wheels, becomes a pop icon of the 80’s (because they time travel), gets addicted to drugs, then fully recovers after just one day of withdrawal, and almost unites the Native American tribes of colonial America into a united nation of their own. I’m no film student or anything, but his character arc is the greatest I have ever seen, hence my ode to him in my Imgur name. The show is worth watching, because it’s funny and clever. And stick with it, because after the first few episodes, you might think, “This show is pretty stupid” which is what I thought at first, but stick with it a little more and then you’ll be hooked. Maybe that’s why the show wasn’t as big of hit as it should have been :/ If you’re still reading this, I’ll reward you with the best quote from Wolf - “How many times have we turned a death SENTENCE into a life PARAGRAPH?”
