#7 okay this is a hysterical joke making fun of male dating profiles and I love it 🤣
#21 depends on whether you have paperwork 'tism
Back during the time when if you wanted to know what was going to be on TV you turned to channel 2 and waited for the listing for the next 2-3 hours scrolled to the channel you wanted, the channel would play celebrity trivia on the audio. One that I remember hearing a lot was that at one point in his career Keanu Reeves feared the epitaph on his gravestone would only read "He played Ted".
#1 I like to think that on March 13 Oliver thought to weigh himself again after a really good poo
Damn, she bears a resemblance to Elliot Page in this shot.
I like to think your cat is concerned because he has claws and doesn't want to accidentally hurt you with them 🥹
#22 Alpha Gal DNA transmitted into humans by the bite of the Lone Star Tick causes humans to develop an intolerance/allergy to animal-based proteins. Radiolab did an episode about it a decade or so ago.
#10 This feels very Warhammer 40K-coded for some reason
"waaah waaah, I wanna know about the fascist father of standup comedy but I don't want to put in the effort to look it up myself using context clues" That's what you sound like. Here's a link to a podcast about the guy, you big whiny baby. https://open.spotify.com/episode/6NMIo6nCSYuYl8I3SDJ1KF?si=1CAoNtvrQZmZIg0STOBfHQ&utm_source=copy-link
Most states (I think Kentucky is the exception) have a setup in place where if a sitting representative dies in office the governor of that state may appoint anyone of their choosing to hold that seat until a special election or other election may be held. It turns out Darline Graham Nordone has worked quietly in state and local politics for many years and was very close to her brother, so it makes sense to me that she would be the pick to continue her brother's work.
Standing atop Nigel Farage's noggin is an excellent pose choice. +1
Large silk operations do that, this is true.
I had to look up some photos, and you're right! A pro pulls the arrow back at a higher angle, nearer to the cheek, chin, or neck.
The Nazi rally was in 1939, so a little bit before the war. There would also be a general pro-fascist rally held there in 1939, and had the man who organized it not been such an evil bigot, more people might know his name and remember his work today.
Bodhi says hello!
Right it looks like he had them laminated or something
I guess I'm wondering who has the time or energy to heat their home by cooking produce during yet another hottest summer on record
To be fair, shit always follows when enough blood is spilt.
Easy enough. A friend I made this year is deathly allergic to apples so I stopped keeping them around. Besides, American apples won't be in season until mid-september at the absolute earliest. Better to wait for good local produce from reputable growers when you can - plus you can find varieties that the stores just won't have. One orchard near me has a Japanese variety from trees planted nearly 100 years ago!
I always thought the bright green and gold accents on a monarch chrysalid to be beautiful. Very cool!
Any type of string, thread, or long and noodly object should be kept away from kitties as much as possible. Ours is obsessed with plastic and slurped up a big plastic packaging ribbon like a spaghetti noodle. An emergency vet visit and $275 later, we got him to puke up the big ball of plastic, saving his life and saving us an even BIGGER vet bill if we had allowed it to get to his intestines.
My mom has this orange cat who is obsessed with plastic drinking straws. If you leave a fountain drink alone in front of him he will steal your straw to chew and toss around the house.
Similar thing with silkworm moths - they were bred to produce as much silk as possible over hundreds (if not thousands) of years, and now those insects can't escape their cocoons without help because they're too thick to bust through.
#26 lmaoo sure your mom had time to bake sweets in 1998 but the cake is boxed mix, the frosting comes from a small plastic tub, and all of your cupcakes are baked into ice cream cones for some reason.
Even if we weren't the richest and most powerful, everyone deserves to receive quality healthcare when they need it.
What in this photo is dirty? The radiator? Those are a bitch to clean. A little dust is fine, you're just being a jerk. No wonder you have the imgur equivalent of negative karma.
For some folks even if they had the skills to do it themselves they can't afford the materials to do so on their own. The space in this picture isn't bad though. The A/C unit is yellowed from age and the walls are either normally that color or are yellowed from tobacco smoke. The curtain rod is askew, that's easy to fix, but I think more importantly to OP they have A/C so they won't have to boil in the heat of wherever they are, and for that I'm happy for them.
I'm so glad I'm not the only person who thought of Schrödingers mitch
It's called living in an old house. Also a lot of people who rent don't repair their own spaces because the landlord is expected to, but the landlord will typically cheap out on repairs to the property in order to save money even though they are legally required to have a fund available to keep the property in shape.
#7 A friend of mine has no pets but in fairness he travels a lot for work and doesn't think it would be fair to bring in an animal. Same with houseplants.
