One of the problems with large scale wind turbine blades - they are not recyclable or reusable. They only last a few years. A company on the East coast grinds them up and pays a cement company to take the waste and use it for cement. Nobody has created real home scale turbines - and solar with batteries are getting cheaper every day. I feel like wind will soon go the way of the betamax tape (or HD DVD for the youngs)

As someone who may have finally found a job (in August) after searching for a new one since March - please do not quit your crappy job. Yes get a new one lined up and leave. In this job market, that could take 6 months or more. You don’t want to be unemployed for 6 months. I am on Reddit with people unemployed for a lot longer who had to move back in with their parents.

#13 this sounds fixable. For every 4 cops, fire 3 and hire 1 social worker, 1 emt, and 1 car handyman/traffic expert. Yellow safety vests for all. Do like the British do and have unarmed cops and only a select group of armed response teams who do NOT patrol. Crosstrain the cop to do first aid/emt stuff. Crosstrain the social worker on traffic management. Crosstrain the EMT on evidence and crime scene management. Crosstrain the handyman on de-escalation and crisis counseling. Easy peasy
