The USA is the 3rd most populous country in the world. So many different voices and places and cultures are here, outside of the view of suburban sprawl. A vigorous minority of us actually believe in the values espoused by the Declaration of Independence. We know a slaveholder wrote it, but it doesn’t stop many of us from working to make those words reality. It’s not easy, but history is not finished just yet. And this place is absolutely worth fighting for.
