I don't find this particular item painful. I would encourage those that agree with it to jump in with discussion points. Background, I was raised on a farm, and now have my own. My worry is that those who were raised in concrete and glass are so far removed from the dirt that feeds them, can't realize that the cities are a "nice to have".

There really wasn't any time in my first several years of working and school to even think about vacation, let alone the money for it.
I'm now in a position with better benefits than listed above. I had to work full time while getting 2 degrees to get here.
This is one of the weird things about the different jobs in the US. My first couple full time jobs had no benefits and were hourly wage.
