Am I the only one reading this as a restatement of the Golden Rule?

Wikipedia still says your occupation is "businessman" when you've been convicted of fraud?

Do Fukushima next!

Well, yeah. Obviously Gondor. I mean, Gondor goes without saying, doesn't it? But apart from Rohan, the Shire, and Gondor...

Yeah, Trump's real big on self-determination for the Palestinians in Gaza. It's why he ran for Prez in the first place. Deep and abiding commitment to their human rights.

Wonder why...

Or, on an adventure that keeps going!

It's ok. You'll either someday understand how state budgets work, or you won't.

And prepare for a Nov 4 where the fascists have thrown huge amounts of mud on every inch of every election. Results are not going to be clear and lawsuits are not going to solve the problem. Fascism stops when fascism is stopped. We're going to have to be the greater force.

Ah, I suppose you've got it here. Thanks!

IIRC, Pepe Le Pew also never tries to score with other skunks. Always a cat.

Tried watching Popeye. Theme: The solution to every problem is violence. Violence didn't work? Apply more violence.

Worth it

#16 Saw this headline today: "Canada is sending the air quality that the US voted for."

The GOP is driving.

The fascists have meat in their jaws and blood running down their chins. On November 4, everyone on the left better have a plan to make sure that the results are clear and enforced, beyond lawsuits because I don't think they're gonna stop unless they *are* stopped.

If not, CECOT

I don't think that's implied at all. He's implying that his part here is worth more than 3/1000ths of the take.

Is there some mutual exclusivity in these two positions? Also, not *anyone*. This particular person.

Yeah, none of them got where they were via competent governance

The government is owned by billionaires.

The whole thing makes no sense. Unless you spent your life getting kicked in the head and are now blind-deep on gas station boner pills... I mean, a cannibal? Are we being a little dramatic, Emory?

I've been thinking I should try using a bath bomb...

Again, if someone says something you don't understand, by all means, ask them to clarify. But to sit and count 18 times over two weeks, then call them out in front of the room is fucking drama.

" It's not terrible that this particular person does it..." Agreed. Agree with the rest here too, although I will point out that it *may* be more than a speech habit, but it's also a speech habit. Calling out your boss for a speech habit in a meeting is fucking rude. I don't know ANYONE who'd want to be called out for a speech habit in front of a room of people. Do unto others, ya know?

If you don't know the meaning of something that's said in your presence, it may be wiser to turn to a dictionary. I think that everyone else in the room understood, so it's really a receiver issue, not a speaker issue. Hard to say if the listener is just autistic or being intentionally obtuse; the reporting here seems pretty obnoxious. If they didn't understand the meaning, that's one thing, but the fact they counted and were tracking usage, there's absolutely no need for that.

I'm not saying fire the guy, but to call someone out for a speech habit in a meeting is pretty fucking rude.
