Slump sounds so much less severe than what is happening, I don't think the rhyme is worth it.
Do you care about the ones that are purely faked? Spinning racket, sliding blocks, etc are CGI trickery.
I've seen them used on land with purpose-built longboards, but agree that otherwise it's beyond silly. It's like a hang-glider with none of the stability, control, or harness safety.

It's intended to be done over water. That's the "wing" for a wing foil. Imagine a windsurfer that uses a hydrofoil (underwater airplane type structure) extending below the board to keep the board itself out of the water. It lets you glide way smoother (you're supported by a less turbulent layer and the mast slices through any chop) but requires a minimum speed to get up. Lot's of brands/stores. I'm honestly waiting for someone to "stand their ground" against a neighbor's abduction. From what I've seen these officers routinely fail to identify themselves, which makes their violent abductions grounds for the use of deadly force in the defense of another. Mileage varies by jurisdiction, naturally, but it seriously feels inevitable at this point. Especially with people *IMPERSONATING* ICE, anyone fucks with my neighbor that is not visibly an actual officer? They're going to FO real fast.
