One of mine will sing around 2-3am onwards, but only if her food dish is empty. If I remember to put food down for her before I go to bed, she doesn't sing. She doesn't EAT the food, she just needs to know it's there.

Sorry, I am not sure what happened after the scene changed to her bedroom. As a 6'6" (2m) man I could not keep my eyes off that insanely large and way to fast scalp slicer.
My cat sleeps peacefully on my legs all night long. When he gets up he does it quietly and I rarely even notice. If I wake up during the night he'll walk up next to my head and dig at the covers to be let in for a cuddle before returning to my legs.
