Just a geek from Iowa

Honestly, it looks kind of like an art project

Can't speak to pianists doing that, but a drummer friend will do that with different beats and rhythms. Most times he doesn't realize he's doing it

Thank you

#28 what is this from? I'd like to read more

I have no issues with people liking pineapple on pizza, it's just not for me. Got sick from a fruit cup when I was a kid, and haven't been able to eat pineapple, peach, or apricot since without a ton of nausea. That's why I don't want it on my pizza, but if you love it, I ain't stopping you

Very nice. If you can find it, try the BD-1. I thought it was a super satisfying build

The versions of Nightcrawler and Blob in this comic are from the Age of Apocalypse timeline, who both somehow crossed over to 616 Marvel. Explains the edginess of the whole thing, somewhat

My family emigrated from Ireland to the US in the late 1800's, so it had always been a dream of mine to visit there. My wife's family had a similar story, and we had the opportunity to visit in 2017, and just fell in love with the country and its culture

Oh, definitely. Have to deal with some repairs to the house first, though, before the budget will allow it. Ireland is an amazing place. If you go back, see if you can visit Killarney National Park. Also, Kate Kearney's Cottage in County Cork. It's a cosy family-run pub and restaurant, with great live music

Thank you for the lovely pics of Ireland. Haven't been there for almost 10 years, and this brought a lot of memories back. I think we have visited some of the same places:
#1 - Is this Killarney?

#16, #17, #18, #19 - These are all from the Cliffs of Moher, right? I'm pretty sure that's O'Brien's Tower in #16

#23 - The Temple Bar is great. My wife and I did a literary pub crawl that stopped there

I'm pretty sure he's just their spokesperson. I do know he's legitimately a fan of Jersey Mike's, so there is that

I'd love to get the whole series on DVD, Blu-Ray, or download, but I've only found Seasons 1-6 available

Looks like the design from Voltron: Legendary Defender. It was a joint production between Dreamworks and Netflix. It's not available on Netflix in the US anymore, but it is on Netflix in other parts of the world

Since I got a warning previously for sharing a link that others were sharing, what I'll recommend here is that you look for "Stereogram Solver" or "Magic Eye Solver" in the search engine of your choice. There are sites that let you plug in an image URL or upload the image itself and show what the stereogram actually shows

Those are awesome. Just started a rewatch of Red Dwarf

@op thanks for this. Been having a rough time lately, and your posts have helped bring a bit of light into my environment. I appreciate you

That thing was moving at just under 108 mph, that still had to hurt

Looks amazing. I'm slowly starting to get into woodworking. What kind of oil did you use?

#37 @op regarding your comment under it, maybe they sense the wizard vibes

Same for Iowa. Yesterday, it was in the 70's to 80's F(roughly 21 to 26 C) and right now, it's 38 F (3 C).

#44 it's nice to be seen

#48 I want to say it's by David Revoy, but I'm not entirely sure

That, and if you look up the work history of the columnist, she's been employed by several right-wing and conservative outlets. Easy money says she's MAGA to the core

I feel for you. I had to convert my department's knowledge base from SharePoint years ago, and settled on an internally hosted Mediawiki server, because it's free and open source. I've now been told I have to convert that over to Salesforce Knowledge, because my company drank the Salesforce kool-aid

There have been some crossovers and callbacks. I think they original Blur (blurry dude in the middle in the image above) is in the main 616 universe now, as part of a multiversal Squadron Supreme.

That's not the Discovery on the card. That's the Athena, from Starfleet Academy

Makes sense. The Beastie Boys started out as a hardcore punk band started by Mike D named the Young Aborigines. Some members left, which lead to MCA and Ad-Rock joining and the band being renamed. They started making the switch from punk to hip-hop around 1983, if I remember correctly.
