Seeing how we were both downvoted, I start to believe many people really liked those sequels.
There was a case last year "Bartz vs Anthropic" and antropic survived it mostly because they were destroying the books and not using digital copys or selling the books afterwards. It is all based on 'first sale' doctrine. Not a lawyer and i do not claim to have understood the case, it seems pretty forked up to me.
