How do horses disturb an ecosystem that originally had tens of millions of bison, an even larger hooved grazing herd animal?

You ... you realize they mean the T in Trillion. Thats its not Billion. They are pointing out the horror.

You must know. You are making a joke that flew around my head perhaps

No books need to be destroyed to scan the pages and digitally distribute them. They could easily just scan the books intact. This is just greed by the companies.
Also for subjects like history where people in power might want to revise the narrative, it is easier to change digital versions of books than paper.

This action of public protest is not an example of others' non-actions. The inaction of others is not featured.

Step 5: Privatize it, turning what was formerly a service to the American people for the common good into a shareholder-profit-generating income stream for use by only those wealthy enough to afford it, while simultaneously not refunding the income tax revenue for that service they no longer provide. Leaving millions of Americans worse off, and a select few even more filthy rich than they already were.

1x goes toward 1/3 (x+y+z) in n milliseconds, 1y goes toward 1/3 (x+y+z) in p milliseconds, and Zero z goes toward 1/3 (x+y+z) in q milliseconds. Where 1y = 1x - 1m. Where m = amount removed by meddling with straw.

A temp elevator would probably need to be located in the same exact place as where the repairs to the old one are happening, and would need to still attach to something to hold it up safely. If there are already structural problems that may make a temporary elevator also not possible. Not sure its feasible. Honestly hiring professional groups to carry people up the stairs on a litter carried on poles seems easiest. Station them there until repairs are complete. Pay them as city employees.

I admire the heart that admires his heart, but I question the shark knowledge level of the person who questions his mind.

His wording and approach may have been unprofessional, and he may have no understanding of trans people and a lot to learn, but its nice to notice he was fighting to keep that trans person on his team, not fighting to keep them off his team, which would have been incredibly rare a few decades ago.

Vaccines save lives. But they have nothing to do with a major cause of death previously which was childbirth, which every instance killed at least 2 people

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

I am pro-vaccine AND pro-organic food, and also pro-logic, and this post is a mess. What does 'died in childbirth' have to do with lifespans with vaccines vs no vaccine, or w food quality? Rural births couldn't do emergency caesarians or blood transfusions. As more births took place in hospitals, childbirth deaths went down for mother & child. Polio vax saved millions.
But now life spans in US are decreasing. Heart disease, cancer, obesity. Diet, stress, pollution exposure are major factors.

But marketing to bring ethical products into public awareness or promote conservation is a thing. Yes its marketing, but it can also be a societal benefit, if it displaces bad products or informs people

3 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

It is absolutely possible if it is run as a service and not for profit. The US military budget is incredibly bloated. Put a tiny drop of that toward fully-funding medicare for all instead and no taxes would go up, and the mulitary budget would still be ridiculously bloated.

Still can't enter private property if the owner doesnt want you there without a judge-signed warrant. That plane is private property.

A different person could use the car. The car could get sold in a year and keep the plates. Mob vengeance with only a photo with unknown source is bad.
Agree if this photo is real, this person is ignorant, and not a critical thinker, and is likely unhinged.
