I know, I really do, and I feel for many of you guys, but COUNTERPOINT: Halo Infinite. 5+ yrs spent fucking around aimlessly trying to build a new engine to support future games, only to end up with a complete unintelligible garbled mess of spaghetti code, nightmarish eldritch documentation or lack thereof, massive tech debt, worst netcode in the entire history of the franchise, complete lack of features that even Halo 5's version of the BLAM engine already had at launch.
I know this isn't common in Switzerland or wherever European paradise nation in where you live, but there are places in the world in where internet connection is unreliable at best and only has Dial-Up internet speeds, such as in farms. Starlink isn't available everywhere yet and even so, they only offer internet plans with data-caps.
I don't know, man. It doesn't feel like Bobby Kotick personally went to the Call of Duty mines and told the development teams to make each CoD game over 150 gigabytes large for no practical reason at all.
This might be the comment that finally gets me banned but I no longer give a fuck. Russia needs to be fucking nuked until there's nothing left but cockroaches.
