The beautiful world of decriminalized drug possession while offering no compulsory treatment for addiction

America failing at something really shouldn't be the metric on 'will it work'

Be a damn shame if somewhere existed that did decriminalize lots of drugs and didn't mandate addiction treatment and still made the entire country a better place. Wouldn't it just be awful if that country was super open about their process so there was no missing step on how to reform both drug policies and addicts in the most positive way to date? Would completely kill your narrative, huh? Damn. Portugal sure has a lot to answer for!

Bullshit fearmongering written by someone not actually from the places described but by right-wingers with a pro-cop agenda.

Agenda aside, I'm inclined to say it's an accurate account of the archetypes I've encountered while walking to work in Seattle at 3-4am. Stuff'd be funny if it wasn't so damn sad.

@OP thanks for posting from an educational perspective. Besides expanding knowledge, what do you expect to change from posting it?

I expect people to be triggered at this late hour of the night and go to bed seething about it.
