I noticed someone else downvoted you so you may have saw that and thought I did it. Thats the thing with written messages, the message you intend doesnt always reach the person, its lost in how the person interprets it. The same person csn read the same message in 2 different states of mind and understand it in two completely different ways. Communication is hard.

It was great writing. About the moral struggle. The rules and doing the right thing was critically important to her. Hell it was the whole reason they got stranded. But all the shit they went through ate away at her, and she had to do things she wasn't proud of. It could happen to us. What would you do if you had no way to get food except take it from your neighbor by killing them? Let yourself die? Maybe. What if it's your family that will die? Try holding on to your precious morals then.

I was just thinking of this today. What if I went to the police station and I said I was just there to say hello and thank them for their services? Would they take the compliment or would they be extremely suspicious and try to ID me and question me as wtf am I really up to? Some cops you can't fart next to them without them getting scared. Then again there was this smoking hot young girl cop I saw at the taco place getting lunch and I asked her if they were busy and she was all smiles and laugh

Also if the fish is being pumped through and is moving at the same speed as the water, it will be forced to used its mouth to breath as water won't be passively flowing past the gills, which can be very stressful or fatal for the fish.

Keep it up! For me if I was still smoking I would not have a car. I smoked 450 dollars a month. Now its probably 600 a month or more. The funny thing is I don't miss it at all. Never have wanted to have a cigarette since. That was 8 years ago.
