I feel this so much. My disability keeps progressing and I've put on a ton of weight, but every time I try and workout I'm in too much pain to do anything for a few days. It sucks.
The fact that I can't see stars at night makes me sad, I hope one day to find a way to see the Milky Way in person

The minority power can BLOCK, Because of the 60% requirement to force a vote. But they can't put votes out there. You need 60% to force a floor vote. The senate is designed to provide a sort of inertia, it is intentionally hard to get things to the floor by just one party, for better or worse.
Most of us can't do anything. We can't afford to miss work to protest. The system was carefully designed to make responses ineffective
