That looks like the same stuff as the "invisibility shield" that there were vids of a few years ago

Probably good advice for outgoing or talkative people... For others however...

Yep, I love a happy cry, those are the best. Everyday or underdog heroes, and add a true story element and I'm gone :D

Good for you man, you stick to your own defined definition of how to test space ships, you sure proved me wrong :)

"In 1966, a Saturn V third stage (the S-IVB) catastrophically exploded on a test stand in Sacramento, California, due to faulty pressurization procedures."

Thanks. I remember my dad teaching it to me as a kid but I forgot what the rules were for it to happen, and I don't think I ever fully understood why it was allowed. The way you described it made perfect sense thanks :) (though I'm sure it was explained to me properly at the time, I just haven't played much chess since I was a teenager)

Life gave this guy lemons....

Ah it was back in the day when I was fit lol, and tbh Ireland is kinda small so there weren't many people to compete with to make it to the top. But after being number 1 in Ireland and then going abroad to compete, I saw how big of a gap there was between us and other countries so I retired soon after rather than keep it up and try to make a career out of it. It was fun at the time though, tho tbh it gets scary at the high heights lol

Haha no, but in my early teenage years there was some dangerous stuff happening, in the early stages of competitions some schools clearly just signed up some kids to compete who had never held a javelin before, and they would go way off to the side nearly hitting people, and one made it do a backflip somehow. The official was just like "nope, disqualified, get out of here before you hurt someone". Pole vaulting was my main sport though, got to the international level for that :)

No, it counts as a fault, it basically just saves people time bothering with an accurate measurement. If they accidently step on the line, the throw doesn't count, if you forget and walk over the line after your throw rather than the side, it doesn't count, of you purposefully step on the line, it doesn't count. Sauce - I used to compete at the national level in javelin.

Yea each of these I have watched I've gone "ok throw it, good man, now kick it. There you go, it's almost gone out, kick it again." This is one of the first where they weren't full on panicking and throwing it everywhere, a mess at the start but then got a handle on things
