Fortunately i barely use my phone, so it works fine for me. $99/year, vs $52/month before (Was $22/month when i got the plan. Unlimited talk+text, no data, BYOD). Absurd the CRTC keeps letting them get away with this crap.

There is no legal requirement for him to respond to them, or their lawyers, and you cannot automaticlly loose the case if you can easily and immediately prove beyond any doubt they are full of it, once it gets in front of a judge. All he has to do is ignore them. Ignore their lawyers. Zero communication until a court date is set. Show up in court. Pick the lock in front of the judge. Case dismissed, and they are paying his legal fees.
