I agree with you. Kids and beginners should wear a helmet. I just think it's weird to shame experienced adults because they chose to not wear one.And again, speed and height = helmet. Transition skaters all wear helmets because it's a must. Street skaters, not so much. It's about managing the risk. E.g. I wear a PDF in the lake, but not in the pool. I could still drown in both.
The line between these 2 is blurry at best. It's almost impossible to prove intent without some sort of manifesto. I think this quote describes it the best:"Your motivation may be that you want the people out, but if in doing that you intend to destroy the group, then it's also genocide," - James Silk, human rights professor at Yale Law School.And IMHO, ethnic cleaning is about removing a particular demographic from a heterogeneous space. Asphalt is bad, but skatepark concrete is super smooth. I wouldn't be concerned by bare skin in these conditions.
Imgur has a bit of an obsession with wheels and helmets. Users keep forgetting the skateboard is not strapped to feet.Helmets are super useful when you go fast and/or high, but for slow street skating the risks of head injury are low. Never 0, but low.
Nah, being gay is not a choice. I don't think it's more common for women. You might be right about women being more prone to show it or talk about it publicly though. But I think it's important to say that sexual attraction is not a choice nonetheless.
I heard a story on the radio about a dude wearing those and trying to flirt with women all day long on the street. Then he edits videos about how to flirt with women, showing their face without their consent, and how men are superior and all that crap. He makes money with this. The journalist who revealed the story found multiple repair shops where they would illegally disconnect the recording light for like $50. It's a problem.
And 2 weeks later Putin replied by taking Crimea. And the guy who helped the pro-russian politician get in power went back to the US to help Trump get elected. Paul Manafort. He was later found guilty of treason, went to jail, and Trump gave him a full pardon after losing the 2020 elections.
I refuse to watch an Odyssey movie unless they hire real giants and cyclops to portray them.
Reading the article helps a lot. It's clickbaity. Nobody ever stopped them to buy and drink alcohol. It was about the nursing home serving alcoholic drinks to residents without an alcohol permit. They wanted to celebrate renovations with a Champagne drink but found they legally couldn't give alcohol to residents. That's the part that changed.
I used to like Shark Week. Then they aired the Megalodon mockumentary in 2013 and I completely lost interest.

The US is not a member of the ICC. They won't enforce its laws. And that's why this is happening in the US.
Probably. I'm definitely being pedantic here, but if we need a photoshop-like app to use 2 superposed fonts then "can be used as a regular font" is a stretch.
In the post it says "Decoy Font is available in TTF format and can be used like a regular font." but there is no way to write 2 messages in one with a regular font.

I agree that back then it was mostly P2P and there were almost no costs, but nintendo and sony do not host all servers for games they sell. Game developers will set up their own servers and pay for it themselves. The fee to access online features is just the console manufacturer milking consumers.

Back then, playing online was achieved by connecting your console to the Internet. Now we also need to pay a monthly fee to Sony and Nintendo to be able to play online.
