Because it's words. And words don't matter, power does. They have the power, they don't need to care about the words.I hate that part of this timeline.
You lost me at the part "all that is good is from God" - where "god" takes credit for all the good things, but not all the bad things. Classic abuser behaviour.Ultimately, if YHWH was really that good and powerful, it'd be able to stop all evil everywhere. It doesn't. (See: Problem of Evil for a longer exposition.) So it's either evil or uncaring.Either way, that version of the myth isn't worth my belief.
If the faith had just that single effect in isolation - then yes, it'd be a good thing. But it comes with a bunch of other things too. It often includes discrimination of other lifestyles, for example. But more importantly, it opens people up to be manipulated by anyone who can assert that they speak for the god(s). See megachurch leaders, politicians. if the god/s would directly act/speak for themselves (no intermediary humans), this would be solved. But it/they choose to be misrepresented
The people who do that bragging and the people cheering him on are basically the same people.
If you truly want to learn, and aren't just saying it, you'll find one of the ways. There are many. For some, it's buddhism, or meditation. For me, it was a book from a psychiatrist, written in 1976. I picked it up thinking it was about how to be more sexually skilled. After a while I realised that 'erroneous' and 'erogenous zones' were very different things. It was a dry book, but I kept reading, and it's helped me ever since. (Even if I don't agree with Dyer - the author's - later views.)

Where I live (Aus) we have ranked preferential voting.TLDR: I number candidates 1-n. If the person I voted for in the round is going to get kicked out, my vote goes to my #2 person and so on. It's great for voting for small parties without wasting your vote. Our 'centre-right' party is trying to move away from it because apparently this is 'corrupt'.
Somebody breathed within a kilometre of him. You have no idea how much that hurts a professional footballer. And yes, I know he's far from the worst of the bunch - but overall, they put me off that game, despite growing up playing it.
If they were reliably reversible, AND if we could stop Moscow Mitch & Comrades using this as the ultimate gerrymandering tool, I'd be completely on board.I say this as a man.Way too many people make the decision to have children for the wrong reason or at the wrong time. (On both sides of the pregnancy.)
Was there something in the video itself you feel is incorrect, or are you just waffling about the place it's distributed?

I'm an adult male. Largest huntsman I've seen in the house had a legspan larger than my face. But most of them are smaller, barely bigger than my fist.
My attacking them might benefit them, as you. But allowing them to come to power unhindered would help them even more.
So.Much.Coke for these guys.
I used to think there were 'political' things, and then 'the rest of life' (business, sport, etc.), and that the two should not be blurred. Then I saw more of the world and grew up enough to realise that this distinction is false and just supports the status quo.
A 100-word message is automatically going to be short on nuance. Take it as a general view about accepting a Nazi as an equal - with specific exceptions for the kind of cases you mention.
Isn't really that paradoxical if you see it as a social contract. Those who choose not to join the contract's values aren't protected by it.
Am not American, and also wish that I had people I admire to vote for. But in the meantime, I'll vote for a "lesser evil" rather than help a greater-evil win.
98 problems is better than 99 problems.
I have worked with someone who completely unironically printed the document and used scissors and glue when told to 'cut and paste' text from one part of a document to another.
"fight", "free", "right" ... key words to conservatives. If they don't listen to words or think about context, it'd be easy to convince themselves Dee and Co were also conservatives, rebelling against the Evil Rule of the Politically Correct (now known as "woke").
IKR. Jolene was apparently a better catch than Dolly? Damned if I believe that.
When the boss makes the choice "come in or get fired" not showing up becomes a much harder decision. Glad I don't live in a hellhole where bosses can do that!
There're good reasons to dislike someone. But not their height, weight, etc. And yes, he's standing on a crate, which might be vanity, or might just be a consequence of knowing he's in a society that respects people more if they're tall.
You mean, like the punchline of the joke in this video ("fakadee")?
