Everyone saying to hoist the black flag is missing the issue that this isn't a problem of where to -get- the media, it's a problem of how to -play- the media. Preferably with a solid 10 foot interface and proper remote control, ideally in a similar form factor to the Roku set top devices.

Philly actually lives up to that in a dysfunctional way. The internal abuse is off the charts, but if an outsider comes along they'll close ranks in a heartbeat. You can see a fun version of it with how people reacted to Gritty, Philly hated him at first until someone outside the city criticized him, then Gritty became as beloved as cheesesteaks.
