I don't know about now, but when I was a kid the same books from a bookstore would be much more expensive, and they didn't give bonus posters and things for purchase. It was the best deal in town, so I fail to see how it was a ploy to teach you to spend money, moreso than an attempt to get you to read more - by having more books.

I disagree wholeheartedly. As the population grows, so does the value to humanity of any particular parcel of land. Not only are more people being disenfranchised and denied use of the land, but those who abuse the land are increasingly capable of despoiling it for greater and greater lengths of time than ever before.

The majority of the people who showed an opinion on my opinion seemed to agree so have fun trying to "prove" that humanity is inherently flawed and ugly, by showing that I can't "prove" that we could be better.
How can I say this more clearly. When I say root, I mean the beginning, I mean the cause. People allowing a small number of individuals to own all of the meaningful land led us down this road. Simply reverting that is not the singular solution that you seem to be claiming that I am claiming it is. So I will also repeat - we have to reform our governmental systems and how people gain access to them before we can even imagine fixing the property problem.
First, my assertion was that it is the -root- of the economic problem. Not the solution, per se, but that we are where we are -because- of abuse of private property ownership and consolidation of capital. But since you're actually being direct now, I'll point out that at this point, reverting property to public over private at this point is contingent on solving our leadership problems first, money out of politics, etc etc.
Well according to his own butthole-mouth, we are in a new golden age and it will never be better than it is right now. So, no more times. It's all downhill from here.

I don't understand why you read what I said and follow it with "do you think". I know very well what the fuck is going on here, I just think it's easy to take this hyperbolic take as accurate if one doesn't think about it too deeply. The meme portrays him as getting .1% of the value of his output, I'm just saying it's probably more like 1%, maybe 2%, who knows, but that's at least an order of magnitude difference.
As that little bite specifies, it allowed nuclei to capture electrons. Why do we phrase it this way? Basic Hydrogen does not have a neutron. It is -only- a proton with 1 electron captured. So before actual atoms started forming, these particles were loosely associating but they were only subatomic matter.
Parse that again. I'm not saying # of households, I'm saying # of people within households.
My assumption, with the numbers presented that way, is that they mean that is the % of people who live in -a household- with that net worth. I could be wrong, but unless I see an indication otherwise, that's how I'm looking at it in this context.

Investopedia says 23,600,000 millionaires, out of 341,000,000 people, which is just shy of 7%. They say ~18% are worth at least $1,000,000 if you include real estate. In a reasonable economy this would probably be an adequate and attainable level of wealth for the average person, who would be protected from ruin by the same safety net that we all share.
