I'm more of a veteran of photoshop and very autistic about researching details like that, I am however conferring with a friend who is very into jets, who both does cybersec and is an avid war thunder player.
Apparently in the picture I found they are doing a "carrier break" manuever, a high speed bank intended to swiftly lose speed as they get into an aircraft carrier landing pattern.
The impossible composition could be explained by the goddamn photoshop job though mate XD It would have to be one of their newer F/A-18 Super Hornets rather than a F/A-18B, but they have both. The livery is correct other than the U.S.NAVY stencil being obscured. The vapour trails are not nonsensical, with just a quick image search I found half a dozen other shots of Super Hornets with similar vapour trails. Here's one of the same jet:
How can you tell? Looks like it could simply be a low flyby image of a Blue Angels jet superimposed into the blue sky over that area? Then the guy shopped on top of that?
