I'm sorry you didn't have your anniversary. My wife of 33 years passed in January, in hospice, after 5 years with cancer. We at least had our anniversary, although it was in the hospital. Then it was short hospital stays through my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. She rallied amazingly in hospice for visits from friends and family and then went peacefully in her sleep soon after. I knew it was coming from the start, but I wasn't ready. It sucks but it's slowly hurting less.

I happened to come across this today. Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry for your loss and glad to hear you're feeling better. I lost my wife of 33 years back in January (22 weeks and 5 days ago) after a 5 year battle with cancer. I didn't go through all these stages. I think I experienced them slowly over the years since the end of this was inevitable. Now I'm just in Depression hoping to move to Acceptance one day, I don't know if that day will come though; she was too much a part of me.
My wife passed earlier this year. I'm lucky that I have 3 awesome videos of her. One talking about how she got into sculpting, her creative process; one with both of us where we told the story of how we met at a D&D game along with some great gaming moments; and the 3rd one after she passed, a livestream dedicated to her and her work, with everyone in the video and the comments raving about how talented she was. Watched all of them many times since. So yes, make videos for those you love!

That's true. For the question to ask, Sarah got that part correct in Labyrinth. Her doors even presented correctly, with only one door saying both parts. So her answer WOULD have worked, until she said it was a "piece of cake" which always ruins things for her.
#12 Hate to be that guy (well, obviously I don't because I'm writing this) but the cartoon is wrong (and this riddle is often presented wrong in the same way). Both guard's opening statements are true, which one of the guards can't say. Both sides of the "rules" of the riddle (at least as stated here) can only be said by one guard, which also immediately reveals who is who.

This is true for women too. My first present to my girlfriend was a curved rapier. We used it to cut our wedding cake a year later... that was over 33 years ago. Let your girl know you trust her with a deadly weapon while you sleep next to her, she'll know you're serious about her.
