Also "thats in the most randomest of places" as if they decided to place the tectonic plates at the site of this grocery store. It's actually not random at all! They decided to build a grocery store right where two sets of tectonic plates meet. There is nothing random about any of this!
Star Wars was made in the 70s, sometimes you have to use your imagination a little with regard to what the special effects of the time were able to produce. The movie otherwise was very unambiguous about the attack on the death star being fraught with danger and likely to result in heavy casualties, if not a suicide mission.
Correct me where I am wrong, as I said it's been a long time since I've seen the movie. The rebel fleet travels through hyperspace (where it is unable to be detected) and then drops on top of the death star. It is immediately met with a devastating counterattack by both the death star's weaponry and the Imperial fleet, suffering heavy losses (including the rebel flagship IIRC) while the smaller rebel fighters make a beeline to the trench in order to launch *their* attack on the exhaust port. ๐
I haven't seen Star Wars in 20 years but wasn't the trench run, dangerous and impractical as it was, necessary because being physically inside the circumference of the death star itself was the only way to evade it's virtually impenetrable defenses?
It's a deliberately constructed myth that Israel's brutality is a result of suffering they endured during the holocaust. The reality of the situation is that holocaust survivors never accounted for more than a small fraction of israel's population and the ones that are living there are treated shamefully. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/one-third-of-israeli-holocaust-survivors-live-in-poverty-advocates-say

Leave it to a fucking electrician to cut a giant hole in the siding and have to install that ugly white trim plate that's too big to fit in one slot of the siding. All the shit no one is ever going to see looks great though!
After the revolution dudes will be judged not by how much they can bench but by who has performed the most daring pet rescue.
They're pathological. They act in fucked up ways because they're fucked up people. Also, capitalism rewards the absolute worst impulses so the richer they become, the more fucked up they get.
I thought the first movie was fun, albeit in a ridiculous way. The second movie had none of the charm of the first movie. The first season of the show was excruciatingly boring, which seems like it would be impossible for a show about a giant beating the tar out of everyone who crosses him but somehow they managed to pull it off. I never bothered to watch any of the other seasons but I doubt they've gotten any better.

And clearly Jon Gabrus laughing offscreen.
Someone is using an oxy-acetylene torch to cut something.
Being in the military is no better than being a cop. Even if you signed up because you (falsely) believe that you were doing something noble or brave, all you're actually doing is materially contributing to the oppression of people overseas.
Sicario was as good as it was because it was directed by Denis Villeneuve and it had a great cast. Sheridan's script is nothing special. He owes his entire career to Denis Villeneuve.
There is actually a rule for this situation; any time that you are comparing 2 fine films and only 1 of those films is starring Ray Liotta, that's the better film.
Wow! Really cool to see the artistry behind the scenes of a woman being degraded and physically hurt, usually you only see the humiliation after the fact. Fuck you for posting this shit and fuck the guy who did it.
John McCain was a fucking war criminal.
You can't block enough sunlight to cool the earth with space based mirrors, thats a complete non-starter.
What did these geniuses think was going to happen once they successfully replaced all the workers with AI? That the handful of companies who now have them completely by the balls were going to start giving them a discount or something? This is just the beginning, pretty soon they're going to have to start signing over a percentage of the company if they want to keep the AI that they made themselves reliant upon.
#15 The CGI in Hulk was fine and it remains the best solo Hulk movie to this day.
It was a joke. The nationality of the participants is irrelevant, you're not allowed to gang up on and physically incapacitate someone in a footrace in any other country either.
#21 Wow, this dump really took a turn.
It's critically important that someone introduce me to these women.
"Some D politicians who shouldn't be there" How can anyone still be so stupid as to think democrats are going to side with anyone against a capitalist?
Its the power of solidarity.
A million more people assassinated by Israel?
So only 99% of them?
I don't understand why he would bother to walk these comments back when the republican brand is just naked bigotry.
That means screaming at migrant farmworkers.
