Knowledge is remembering a recepie from a book. Wisdom is knowing when to add salt to your cooking.

Well, yeah, you're accurate. This ones without the camera angles, music or overall creativity. This one's like you're listening to a 4 hour lecture on why cabbage is green.

Since 70% of street fights end up on the ground, this is a nice advantage to have. Jui-juitsu, BJJ and MMA are the few martial arts that actually cover ground fighting. Now i will be quiet.

The "Standing fighting" when you try to commit a throw, landing your opponent on his or her back, is not everything. Ground fighting is also trained alot, this is where the choking and arm bar techniques come in. You're not allowed to do those while standing. In a randori match, freindly sparring, you win either by pinning your opponent on his or her back for x amounts of seconds, or you win by making your opponent tap out, with a arm bar or a choke.

Its actually using leverage, balance disruption and commiting the throw, combination or take-over. Also exploiting the body's weak points such as a arm's joints and the neck's main veins to render your target harmless. In my opinion the fighting aspect of Judo is 40% of the sport. Judo teaches you respect, control and balance. if you want to be a killer MMA, Kickboxing and Tai-Boxing is more what you should be looking for. But of course if it taught you the ground is a weapon, hell yeah my man.

We spell it this way : Bioscoop. If we have loud "o" we write it as "oo". Usually. There is a vid on Yt where a man goes to Friesland, a most Northern province in the NL, and tries to buy a cow speaking old English from a Friesian farmer. It's said that people who speak Friesk, a distinguished Dutch dialect (like a language on it's own) could communicate with a person speaking old English. Ill search the video and comment it.
