The OSDE head did his damnedest to force the Oklahoma school systems to get in line with Trump's agenda, then got in trouble for watching porn in his office allegedly, and is now heading some anti teachers union to help bust up actual teachers unions in Oklahoma if I'm up to date on the stupidity

Yeah, I take these twitter posts to just be bots but I know a few people who are thinking like this now. Namely my parents who are close to retiring, haven't been able to save enough to properly retire without social security, voted for Trump because they think he's Christian like the rest of Republicans, and are freaking out because SS is on Elons chopping block. Warned them enough so feels bad because it's family but also they get what they vote for

Early 20s, I still try to be really nice and lend helping hands to other teams if asked but when each job I've had has given the same raises and perks to both hard and lazy workers, I'll do enough to keep me out of the lazy workers group since there's 0 incentive to do anything more. Feel bad for the hard workers but that's their choice at the end of the day
Just recently got back from there and it's amazing how many waterfalls there are just off the side of the road. Each one is amazing to me but crazy that this one is probably still one of the "lower quality" ones lol
I'm more of a "feel obligated to visit them because it makes them happy" person. They fostered a "we're your parents, not your friends" mentality growing up and I got punished constantly for expressing interest in things the Bible didn't approve of so it's better for my mental health to not be around them so much because I don't have to walk on eggshells around them. Mom is also incredibly manipulative and makes it everyone's problem when something doesn't go her way
Can confirm, have a coworker who takes a shit and just leaves the bathroom, seen it on multiple occasions. Big reason(other than your normal sanitary reasons) I use my paper towel to open the door after I wash mine lol

It hooks up to your water line so yeah cold water, it takes a bit to get used to if you've never used a bidet but I'll never go back to just regular tp. The warm water ones do require an outlet in your bathroom and not sure how much more they cost but the plain attachments are only like $20-50 on Amazon
One of my friends was a vodka bottle a day kind of drinker and would have seizures when they didn't drink anything for a day or so. Hopefully not the case for you if you're quitting cold turkey but instead of rehab, they said a detox center was super helpful at getting clean and they've been sober well over a year and a half now. Definitely hasn't been easy but they're the happiest they've been and improved their life so much without alcohol so hoping for the best for you too. Good luck!
