A dreamer, wisher, and writer in So-Cal. Lover of breakfast foods and most likely to be crushed by one of my bookshelves in an earthquake. Ralph Waldo Emerson — 'When it is dark enough, you can see the stars.' Bee -- But then it's really hard to read.
Just found out from Nextdoor that there is talk of a data center being built at the area's fairgrounds, which are not owned by the county, instead by a separate entity... I am so f-ing sick of this
I saw one AirBNB where the owners had three cats to tend to... and a tortoise. I would have been annoyed at the cats, but I have to admit taking care of a tortoise would be interesting.
I keep saying Disney could make boatloads just rereleasing this film now. Anyone who saw it before would love to see it on the big screen, and anyone who didn't know of its existence would likely love it.
Aww... I got nothing.
I ended up creating shortcuts to my hard drive folders on quick access, save everything to my desktop, then move it to the appropriate folder. It's madness to see all the effort we have had to deal with to save things in a manner to be sure we have it.
Not a washer, but my co-worker had a horror story about a smart oven. It insisted upon having an update installed on THANKSGIVING before being used... will avoid anything smart like the plague for as long as I feasibly can.
Similar. I work for a fundraising office for a university. Our gifts are contracts. Both sides have expectations.

Wow, I hadn't considered that use! How helpful
The socks were mine. They were a gift. ;.;
I am dreading this time as I watch my dog's fur go white. Give her the best send off you can, and let her finally have chocolate.
So to protect my drink from predators, I should put a monitor lizard in my drink. Got it.
I like the cut of your jib.
Lightning strike! Lightning strike! Lightning strike!

I'm in the USA... but yeah, now that I think about it, I was logged into my university network.
The link had the full article for me. O.o
It's a series of books -- it intensifies as it continues on. The main character is a sociopath who is trying hard not to act like one until he realizes the best way to resolve what is going on is to give into his instincts.
I Am Not a Serial Killer by Dan Wells. There is demonic stuff involved.
That's what I pointed out to my brother! Also that if it was true, it would be time to "switch" so that all new textbooks and maps could be published. I work in education, if there's one thing I KNOW happens is "pay for this new edition of your textbook even though all we changed is one word." He still believes....
I joke that my sexual orientation is the entire group of competitors in the Great British Bake Off.
This is one of the best memories I have of my dad. We were putting a roof on the new shed, and he came up with a brace to help me hold the shingles in place for him to hammer them in place. Once we confirmed it worked, he grinned and said "Wile E. Coyote, super genius."
PM incoming
I do squats too!
Violence is never the answer. It is a question. And sometimes the answer is yes.
