One of my loans was straight up 11% I never could understand why the balance wasn't going down... Luckily I have since refinanced all of it to 2.7% and THE BALANCE IS FINALLY GOING DOWN!

Never called moron or idiot by teachers. R- was a term used by teachers, and by faculty as the accepted term for a long time. I thought I was clear that obviously people were called idiots and morons in school, but not BY the school
Idiot, moron and imbecile weren't terms historically used in schools. Sorry that's obviously wrong. They weren't terms historically used BY schools to the same degree as r-. They were used in a medical situation. More people grew up being called r- in school and that stings different when you hear it as a child, when you hear your friends called it or are out in a special class because you are r-
