But I know I'm missing €50
She was in my room this morning to ''get a lighter'', but as far as I know I only had the one, which I still have, and now I seem to be short of cash. This wouldn't be the first time she's been caught stealing from family members. Would appreciate any advice on how to confront her about this one. A big part of me hopes I just lost it...

Simply ask for your lighter back. If she doesn't have it. You'll know she stole something.
Magnus95
Use the old string and dollar bill to catch her
slowcrushedsoul
i don't think there is any good way to do it. And do you think she would admit it anyway. She will probably be defensive either way.
FredTwo
Bug your room
HomelessToddler
Subtly put money someplace she knows about. DONT touch it. If it's gone it's her.
TravNel
Beat her ass just to be sure. Use a sock and a grapefruit.

When my older sister moved out, I found every wallet I had ever "lost" emptied in a bag in the closet.
armyofdildos
Make her pay you back, one way or another ;)

It could be a crack head who got hold of the wrong stuff

The worst thing is is that if she really needed it I'd be all http://i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/264/241/9e9.gif
IfYouHaveToAskYoullNeverKnow
just say you can't find your lighter, and ask her for it
TheWhisperingWindsofShit
being straight up is the only way to handle it
MrLaninated
But what if I'm bi? Haha *cries inside*
