This... don't let *any* pet, even a cat, stay loose in a cabin while you're driving. Harness at a minimum but most aren't really tested; a crate's safest. Even if they survive the wreck, they can be ejected, flee and never be seen again :(
Personally, and maybe this is just me being weird, I would move or try to cover whatever is magnifying the light like that so it doesn't cause my dogs head to smoke or potentially start a fire on either the dog or the house.
But I guess you could also just pull out your phone and record.
