That's gotta be like $100,000 dollars worth of legos

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's like a million dollars worth of lego.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That was my first thought as well!

I love how it stays practically 100% and then just insta-collapses

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This pleased me.

It wasn't round enough. The force with each roll broke the pieces apart

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was testing to see if it was possible from a cgi viral video using a ball of the same dimensions.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is the third post of people rolling giant Lego balls downhill. Is this a thing now?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Others were cgi renders. This was a mythbusters testing if those cgi videos were really possible.

Anyone care to calculate how much would such lego ball approximately cost?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This was on Mythbusters, and they were all donated

This is way better though - dude dresses up as Indiana Jones and runs away from it, ends up hitting car https://youtu.be/VFGVzt7c5bY

....and I just found that OP's video is a mythbusters experiment to debunk this one :)

Hey cheated and made sections.. if it was 100% interlocked would have stayed together longwe

9 years ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 3

Unfortunately, they disproved that the ball in the myth would've been possible at all and it took an assload of time to build.

That's what I kept thinking. Had they a mason on their crew this shit wouldn't have happened

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

The one in the video they got the myth from is even less round.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're both bringing valid points. @dagg3r there would've been crossections that can't 100% interlocked because of how lego is, though.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yeah as i wrote it i was thining there would still be fault lines through it. But still it could have been put together a bit more interlock

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yeah, there would be minimal fault lines, and with optimizing the edges to be as round as possible there wouldn't be as much shock imparted.
