It's a grill that runs on sticks. It'll burn a lot less sticks than a simple open box for the same performance and you can grill a lot more often.
If you have an overabundance of sticks, I guess you don't need it

Actually that should be reasonably doable. You can see there are not only dampers for the burners, but also a damper in the air output so that you can reduce the oxygen flow through the firebox itself. The only thing you probably can't do is have super high heat on one burner and super low heat on the other at the same time.

As with any wood stove. You can choke it down to some point, but you needto keep the combustion chamber hot enough. Usual solution is to use something with a easonable thermal conductivity and shift the pot to the side until you get the heat to whee you want it. Requires a bit more attention than electric or gas.

I make paella with charcoal. Piping hot in the beginning to sear the meat then it cools down to simmer the rice. Took some trial and error (burnt rice) but it works and I can't fit a paella pan that big on my stove. Almost as if people have been cooking with fire for tens of thousands of years.

Our scrapyards are prohibited of selling any scrap metal. Because they used to be a heaven for metal thieves and money launders and now the tax office just killed any activity but strictly buying the scrap, sorting it and sending it to the melting plants. Step left, step right from that path, tax office shoots without warning.

Plug phone in to PC, or remove the SD card and plug that in, depending how your phone is setup.
Another handy method for getting 'useable' video is send it to yourself via whatsapp. It'll compress it down from hugemungeous to reasonable size (you can then offload onto your PC using whatsapp dekstop or web).

Try recording your phone screen with a web cam maybe? Just hold the phone up to the cam while it's streaming to twitch. Then you can send the twitch vod to youtube. After that find one of those youtube to mp4 converters. And from there it should be easy to convert the mp4 to a gif.

Email, maybe sync cable? There are many variables, but I would imagine sending an email to yourself from your phone and receiving it on your PC would be the quickest. If the file is too large for email then you can just plug your phone into your computer and bring it over that way. Both are fairly quick.
